What browser storage is
Cookies and local storage let a website remember information in a browser. They may support essential delivery, preferences, analytics, advertising, or other functions depending on the site.
How XOOC currently uses it
XOOC stores one local preference—xooc-cookie-choice—after you dismiss the notice. This prevents the same notice from reappearing on every page. It does not contain your name, email, purchase history, or article history.
Hosting and security
Infrastructure providers may use essential technologies needed to route requests, balance traffic, maintain security, or prevent abuse. Those operations are governed by the provider’s applicable terms and privacy commitments.
Retailer links
Opening a retailer or other external link leaves xooc.com. The destination may use its own cookies, analytics, advertising, or affiliate attribution. Review that site’s notice and controls before continuing.
Future changes
XOOC does not currently run optional marketing analytics or cross-site advertising. If that changes, this notice and the consent interface will be updated before optional technologies are used where consent is required.
Your controls
You can clear or block browser storage through browser settings. Clearing site storage resets the XOOC notice choice. Blocking storage may cause the notice to return, but reading articles does not require an account.
