This Privacy Policy explains how XOOC Tool Journal (“XOOC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit xooc.com, email the editorial desk, or follow a link to another website.
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive the address, message, and any information or attachments you include. Use email only for information you are comfortable sending. We use correspondence to respond, evaluate corrections, handle relationship inquiries, prevent abuse, and maintain a reasonable record of the exchange.
Technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic or security signals. This information supports delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Browser storage and cookies
At launch, XOOC uses local browser storage to remember whether the cookie notice was dismissed. XOOC does not currently run cross-site behavioral advertising or an optional marketing analytics suite. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are added, this policy and the Cookie Notice will be updated before use where consent is required.
Retailer and source links
Articles link to retailers, manufacturers, and public agencies. When you open an external site, that operator receives information normally sent during a web request and applies its own privacy policy. An affiliate link may contain an identifier that allows a merchant to attribute a qualifying transaction to XOOC. XOOC does not receive full payment-card details from an ordinary affiliate purchase.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers that support hosting, email, security, or site operations; disclosed when required by law; or transferred as part of a legitimate business reorganization. Email correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably useful for the stated purpose, legal obligations, dispute handling, or abuse prevention.
Your choices
You may avoid external links, decline to email us, and clear local storage through browser settings. Depending on location, you may have rights concerning personal information we control. Send a clear request to editor@xooc.com. Identity verification or lawful retention may be required.
Children
XOOC is a general-audience tool and home-improvement publication and is not directed to children under 13. Do not send children’s personal information through the contact channel.
